The Waldorf Pulse is undoubtedly a punchy monosynth. I find the Evolver to be slightly less punchy although pretty punchy in general. I have been doing A-B comparisons with my Pulse and I am feeling that the Pulse's Osc seem slightly more middy than the Evovler's and that the VCA attack is just a bit harder on the Pulse. So the question: Is the Pulse punchier? If so, why? What is it about the Waldorf? Or is it something else, like the filter in the Pulse being more overdriven or something? If anyone here has both, I would be interested in your detailed observations on this topic--the hope being that we can isolate the magic dust and have that added to the Evolver . . . Ravi
