I know, I know! Is the highpass set to at least 1? If not the mod sources will have no effect on it, until it's 'made active' by setting the actual high-pass filter setting in the patch to, at least 1(has little audible effect at that level). Then the mod will have some effect. Either that or it's something else. z.
