Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

i just had a look at ds evolver page..there is a adaption for 
sounddiver 3.0 which maybee does waveform transfer. what is a 
adaption anyway? i guess i have own the full soundiver3 version , 
right? can someone give me some infos about that? is it possible to 
create user waveforms out of wav-samples? how does it work?
