Well it is a *mono* synth. 1 voice. So pads are available if you don't mind overdubbing a lot. But basically, anything a monophonic synth, the Evolver can do. It can do a lot more and that is why it is shown off doing such. It is not a niche synth in the way the Sidstation by Elektron is, that is, it does one or 3 sounds really well, but much else. The Evolver is on one hand a basic monosynth but with fancier features, like 4 oscs instead of 2 or 3 and a mix of real analog with digital waves. The sequencer is a bonus.
