Re: [Evolver] Possible bug?

2002-11-20 by Ravi Ivan Sharma

I found it last night too and emailed Dave. Great timing!
It is an identified bug and is fixed in next batch of evolvers (with os update to be available on the website -- which is nearly ready according to Dave).

Subject: [Evolver] Possible bug?

Has anyone else noticed that if you use wave sequencing on one
oscillator but not the other that the one without wave sequencing
jumps to waveform one? I've just tried this on mine and it does this
regardless of whether the wave sequence is on osc3 or osc4. You can
change the wave on the non-sequenced osc manually, but it jumps back
to wave #1 on the next increment of the sequencer. The display still
shows 23 (or whatever) but the sound is definitely wave #1 (sounds
like a sine wave to me).

I'm curious if this is a problem with my unit or if it's a bug in the
software. I've had some other problems with mine (which I've discussed
with Dave) but this doesn't seem related to the other problems I've
seen.
