Re: Help Please - Sequencer Confusion

2003-10-16 by ski_ex5tech

(Sorry my last post didn't go through properly!)

Sayer, I think you totally misunderstood Dave's point. Based on your
message below, it sounds like you jumped into sequence edit more, and
edited some of the actual sequencer step values. Dave was trying to
tell you to disable the four sequencer *destinations*, and then to
make sure that none of your four modulators used a sequencer track as
a *source*.

To disable the sequencer destinations: In plain old "patch edit"
mode, look in row 8, columns 1-4 for the "Seq 1-4 Dest". Set all
four of them to "OFF".

To ensure the modulators aren't using a sequencer track as a source:
Again in patch edit mode, look in "shift" (i.e. lower half) of rows
3, 4, and 5 for your four modulators. Check the "Mod 1 Source"
through "Mod 4 Source", and make sure that none of them are
using "SE1" through "SE4". If they are, simply switch them to "OFF".

Make sense now? If not, holler back.
