Greg, I've had SO much trouble with MIDI format Evo progam (patch) 
files, I'd be scared to death of trying to actually update the O.S. 
with a MIDI file.  And in any case, why do you ask?  Do you not have 
a program that works with standard SysEx files?  See the following

I previously posted all this info here to the Yahoo group, as well

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
