Greg, I've had SO much trouble with MIDI format Evo progam (patch) files, I'd be scared to death of trying to actually update the O.S. with a MIDI file. And in any case, why do you ask? Do you not have a program that works with standard SysEx files? See the following topics for details: (Evolver forum) >>> WARNING >>> Saving Evolver Data in MIDI Format http://www.ex5tech.com/ex5ubb_cgi/ultimatebb.cgi? ubb=get_topic&f=23&t=000037 (Computers/Software forum) Some free MIDI / SysEx Utilities http://www.ex5tech.com/ex5ubb_cgi/ultimatebb.cgi? ubb=get_topic&f=8&t=000316 (Note: If your email client or the Yahoo group splits the link above onto two lines, you may need to copy/paste the link into your browser address bar.) I previously posted all this info here to the Yahoo group, as well (multiple times); it's just often hard to find here, plus some of the posts have apparently been deleted. Hope this helps.
