yea i tried to update my evolver on tuesday night. i first used cubase to play the file but it would get stuck on 17. then i downloaded a sysex editor and sent it that way it counted down from 32 hit 0 then went back to the patch i was on before i started, and froze up..i knew right when it froze that it would zap the PIC chip if i unplugged it. so i waited like a half hour then just unplugged it and plugged it back in. well its not working now, but i get lights 2 and 5 to light up. Dave Smith took care of everything REAL quick and i get my chip today.I know that unplugging killed it but what else was i suppose to do just let it sit there frozen for ever. so i am not sure what happened but as long as the chip goes in smoothly then this whole thing should be done soon enough, and i will get back to thrashing sound ASAP. the deepsea dweller.... todd_leben@y...> wrote: > Seems a few folks have had Evolver die on them.
