I've heard some great reviews of the Frostwave Resonator.  It's a very
simple analog filter pedal with low/high pass filters and CV inputs,
etc.  It's modeled after the Korg MS-20's filter.  They're pretty
cheap as well (about $240 in the US).  And I saw that Front242 uses
one, so I thought I'd let you know.  Check here for more details:

I'm not trying to dissuade you from buying the Sherman, by the way.
