being as we're doing the subject to death - maybe consider the Mutronics Mutator, it has synced stereo LFOs its the most hifi filter I've ever heard, extraordinarily rich and creamy, probably u can't get much more opposite to the Sherman but its an amazing piece I'm a filter nut too, the Mutator, Akai MFC42, Filterqueen and EH Qtron all find a regular place in my studio.... somehow using synths as external audio processors never seems to quite do it for me must check out those MAM things....
