And remember, there's really _another_ delay in the form of the
feedback section, which goes back through the filter!

Also, all the delay times are (1) synchronizable to the beat (either
fractions or multiples thereof), and (2) with shorter delay times, are
`tuned' to note pitches: i.e., a delay time with a frequency (1/time)
close to a musical note will actually be _exactly_ on the note, so you
can reinforce certain frequencies, etc.
