Lets keep this in mind :)

many samples will you require?

Whatever you would feel is appropriate. Be an artist and put your
best foot forward I guess. 'Evolver' is not your normal sampling
session. I would think that something like 6 samples per patch and
between 10 and 20 patches. The more the merrier

samples do you want?

Same as above and say 4 samples per patch and between 4 and 10
patches.

the provider for the samples provided should only remain effective if
you indeed decide to give the software to the provider. That is, if,
for example, I provide you with a CD full of samples and a release,
if you rejected my samples and didn't give me software in return
(which is your choice) then the release would be void. Fair right?

Of course, but lets not get lawyers involved :) Lets establish the
resons for rejecting the submission.

1. It sounds like any of the toy SoftSynths out there.
2. It sounds like factory patches from old Hardware Synths.
3. It sounds like you have never recorded anything before.

If for some reason I reject it I will discuss with you why and will
send you SurReal. My guess is you would probably have to put more
effort into submitting something that I would reject, than something
that will blow me away.

Reality can put the credits right in the Bankset. Your name, links
etc would be front and centre. We also have something called
SeerScene coming which could be used for establishing more web
presence for you.

whether the value of software is commensurate with the skill and time
required for the samples (I am sure it is and if it isn't, throwing
in some credit would easily fill the void), this sounds like a good
and fair offer!

Um, Reality is one of the best synth/samplers ever made. Hardware or
Software. SurReal is it's little brother that plays back Reality
created banksets. Same synth engine.

anything to do with your company anymore?

Dave has no relation with SeerMusic Systems. I have simply licensed
all the apps, code, names, etc. Reality is in my mind still Dave's
baby, I'm just babysitting and updating it for the forseeable future.

This is all fine with Dave and he would be interested in hearing how
it turns out.

Best,
Ian
