I always use exponential but its shape seems not quite how I'm used to
from other such envelopes. Too steep, maybe. I've been meaning to
explore this some more even though the Evolver mostly serves (for me)
as a solo synth and weird noise maker/processor.

The sequencers have a short gate time that makes getting them to sound
punchy a little harder too. Again something I have not explored fully
enough. This synth can fill a lifetime of tinkering.... which is a
good thing <g>
