How about a few more details? 1) Mac or PC? 2) What program are you using to load the SysEx files? 3) Even if you're not using MIDI-OX on a PC, are you following the basic procedure detailed in the forum topic below? Using MIDI-OX to Save & Load Evolver Patches http://www.ex5tech.com/ex5ubb_cgi/ultimatebb.cgi? ubb=get_topic&f=23&t=000013 (Note: If your email client or the Yahoo group splits the link(s) above onto two lines, you may need to copy/paste the link(s) into your browser address bar.) 4) Are you sending ONE SysEx file that contains data for bank C and bank D, or two SysEx files (one each for C and D), or something else? 5) This is possibly the most important question: Do you KNOW for a fact that your SysEx data (whether it's one or more files) contains some Programs to load into bank C, and some different Programs to load into bank D, and that there's no overlap? It would be very easy to build a SysEx file that does exactly what's happening to you (i.e. loads the same Programs into banks C and D). If you're familiar with the Evolver SysEx Program data format, take a peek with a hex editor and see if there are any obvious problems.
