Anyone here have both linked together?

I am becoming intrigued by the idea of getting a polyevolver to 
supplement my evolver. I'm less interested in a 5 voice synth, than I 
am in the chaos produced by mostly individual voices, each 
controlled, or partially controlled by their own sequencers. How well 
does this work in actuality. has anyone tried anything like setting 
some of the sequencers for internal control, and some for external 
control? etc, etc. I've been browing the manual, but I'm wondering 
whether in actuality this is an awkward setup, or whether it works 
well...
