This is great! I hope you will keep us informed
about your experiences with the evolver as an effects unit. Most of us, I am
guessing, use the evolver as a synth, but I just got my second evolver so am
open to its uses as an effect for my other gear. Merry Christmas and have
fun!

read about the Evolver last week. Checked out the sound files and
specs, and ordered myself one as a Christmas gift!
In the mid '70's, I got the electronic music bug and built myself a
couple of PAIA patchbay synthesizer systems. I learned all about the
inner workings, flow and theory of a synthesizer. Not being a real
keyboard player, I mainly enjoyed creating textures, sounds and
lines and experimenting. Once the real polyphonic synths came into
vogue, I put the
synths down and focused mainly back on the guitar.
Well, after reading about the Evolver and listening to some of the
available sound bytes, I was hooked. I've got the bug again. I'll
probably use the Evolver live as more of a signal processor for the
guitar, but am really looking forward to being able to create some
fun synth sounds again.
I've joined the list to keep tabs on what you guys are up to with
the instrument.
Best regards, and Happy Holidays,
