Hey Peter,

A midi merger unit may be able to create a keyboard
zone (a range of notes for a specific channel)
dedicated to your Evolver set to that channel.  For
example, I have a JL Cooper Nexus Plus 2 x 8 midi
merger purchased in the early '90s that does this. 
Dunno if this or equiv. unit is still
available...haven't looked for this kind of gear in
years.
