I haven't used the Sounddiver editor - but if it does not let you set the sequences to other lengths than 16 steps, it is missing something! YOu can change each of the 4 to a different length, also. While I also really like to use the Evolver with an editor, especially the sequencer where I can see all of the steps simultaneously - I think it is very valuable to learn how to program the Evolver without the editor.
