Hang on everyone before you go out and buy a novation controller for your evolver!! I spent about four hours trying to program a remote 25 to work with my mono evolver - and nearly had it - but in the end it didn't work. It came down to the fact that to control the evolver parameters you need to be able to include the parameter value twice in the sysex - once in the LS nibble and once in the MS nibble. But the Remote 25 only allows you to specify the parameter value once in it's Sysex strings. I tried everything but the closest I got was parameters on the evolver going from like 70-90 and then jumping back down to 70 again and other erratic behaviour. What a shame as they are nice controllers!
