Hi, just a cool thing I noticed: I was playing around with the ROM waves, and had Osc 3 set to wave #14, at a low volume (40-50). Then I noticed that I sounded much cooler if I detuned that osc considerably (I have the base pitch set to "E" now) -- it doesn't make the patch sound out of tune, I suppose because that wave doesn't have a strong fundamental, but adds a nice fizzy effervescent character that doesn't seem to be present if the pitch is just set to C (makes me think of the typical yamaha rompler sound). This only seems to work with a few waves, notably #14 and #15. Looking at Carbon111's wave charts, those are narrow pulse waves, which makes sense... -Miles -- Come now, if we were really planning to harm you, would we be waiting here, beside the path, in the very darkest part of the forest?
