I don't have a PEK (quite yet), but AFAIK you cannot do inter-voice
modulation.  There's quite a bit of modulation possibility within a
single voice though.

If you just wanna dip your toes in and see if you like it, the mono
evolver's one of the nicest little monosynths out there.
