Well, I think that the envelopes and accent is not
the problem but the slide of the 303 is impossible to emulate because the
glide starts on the decay stage of the previous note. And even the filter is a
18 db low pass (3 poles) that doesn't exist on Evolver. Yes, it will sound
different but better?... That's a matter of taste but you should listen to
a faaaat and percusive bassline of my Devil Fish 303 before saying that

Just wondering what Envelope settings would be a good start.... I know
that the 303s Envelope Control supposedly changed the decay time only.
I believe all the other envelope settings were fixed.
Accent supposedly affects volume, resonance, and decay. This could be
programmed with a few Mod destinations and a sequencer track (or
ModWheel possibly).
Then there's glide time, which I believe is dependent on the tempo of
the 303... I guess this would probably have to be adjusted to taste.
And for all the purists out there, I know that the Evolver will never
sound just like a 303. I'm sure it will sound better :)
