I initially could not get MidiOX to work. I eventually did by disconnecting all but the Evolver MIDI connection. As to exactly why that worked, I'm not sure. -----Original Message----- From: DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com [mailto:DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com]On Behalf Of tomw97 Sent: Wednesday, August 17, 2005 5:39 AM To: DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com Subject: [Evolver] Re: New 3.0 update for Evolver - It's COOL! I had a similar problem - couldn't get Midi-Ox to send the sysex. Wrote to Dave and he wasn't sure what the problem was, eventually I used Cubase to send it and it was fine. The upgrade is fantastic - definitely worth $25 to get the thing working with my BCF2000 controller - oscillator levels and filter freqs on faders, knobs for feedback, distortion etc. Even if you don't spend money on the chip, there are two complete new sets of Evo patches (v.3 and the PEK patches) which are really good, and more logically arranged than the previous patches.
