Hi Ben & Co. Psicraft's Vyzor Evolver Editor (which should be out in December) features a wave editor that has some of the features you have discussed. To see a screen capture of the development version, click here: http://www.psicraft.com/Demo/Vyzor_Evolver/Waveshape.jpg It has mouse-drag editing, but more importantly it also has a number of essential tools for making periodic and symmetrical waveforms (which are much more likely to yield musical results). Also, you can load the preset waveforms and copy blocks of them into your current waveform, invert, mirror and flip blocks of samples, not to mention up and downsample your waves for all kinds of variations on a theme. The shipping version will also be able to import Wave files. The waveshape editor is only one of the Evolver editors that will be included in the package. There is also a multifunctional program editor with Signal Flow, Mod Matrix, Step Sequencer and Virtual Synth modes, a program bank editor, and a setup editor. PER and PEK users will also be able to make use of a Combo editor.
