Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

I am wondering if I could use an Alesis Micron as a controller for the
Evolver.

It would be nice to have another full fledged synth for more sound
variety and the Micron is not a whole lot more expensive than a
dedicated midi controller.

Any thoughts?
