Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

I just want to play it using the keyboard.  Will that be possible with
this set-up?  I can program it from the panel or from the software.  
My evolver is being shipped.  Have not gotten it yet.  am I wrong in
thinking that there is no keyboard controller that will allow me to
program it.
