considering all the trigger modes and uses for the seq:s i can see why it's not implemented - how would the "glide" work when each incoming midi note/audio peak advances the sequencer? and would the osc3/4 waveshapes also glide, creating insane amounts of clippy glitchiness? YESSSS! MMMMmmmmm! still, i'd love to see something like this implemented, too, if it is at all possible - we could use it to create smoother textures and sounds. where would the glide switch for the sequencers be hidden? not in the GLIDE toggle, for sure, since the sequencer and oscillators are separate entities for a good reason... looking at the evo control panel, there would have to be a Hidden Function for this - something that we've luckily not had to deal with earlier. the only good solution i can think of would be to have a slew value for each sequencer step, accessed by pressing the shift key (that is now unused in the sequencer mode, anyway). that way we could have smooth and abrupt changes during a singular sequence. the sequencer is lovely as it is but very recognizable - something like this could let us evolve sounds even smoother. t.. // polyfonken http://www.polyfonken.com/stash || http://www.polyfonken.com/ghostmonkey --- In DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com, "rgmccaig" <rgmccaig@i...> wrote: > > Are there any OS plans, or workarounds to allow glides to be triggered > from the internal sequencer? > > I have the feeling maybe I must just convince Mr.Smith that I would > use it to do something 'innovative' and not just use my Evo. like the > coolest 303 ever :) :). >
