You have to set the sequencer destination to the "MIDI Note Out" dest -- normally it's set to something like "Osc All Freq" or whatever. Each of the 4 sequencers in a patch has its own destination parameter, so you can set some to internal destinations, and some to midi out. On the desktop evolver, the sequencer destination parameters are the first four parameters on the last row. There are 6 midi-related sequencer destinations: MIDI Note Out MIDI Velocity Out MIDI Mod Wheel Out MIDI Pressure Out MIDI Breath Controller Out MIDI Foot Controller Out I only have the PEK documentation, so I'm not sure what cryptic 3-letter abbrevations the desktop evolver uses for these. They are near the end of the destination list though, so if you scroll to the last few values, you should be able to work out which ones they are. Note that older OS versions did not implement MIDI destinations, so if you have an older manual, it may not list these. -miles -- `The suburb is an obsolete and contradictory form of human settlement'
