Hi Everyone, First off, my apologies for not noticing this thread sooner- Apparently I have been 'Hard Bouncing' since Dec 7th and none of this forum's posts made it to my mailbox since then. I'm back in the loop now, however. Having just read through this thread's posts, I'd like to mention the following: 1. Vyzor Evolver will ship later this month. 2. It supports Version 2.0 of the Evo OS, although we will make sure it works with Version 3.0 desktop Evolvers as well. 3. It is cross platform: PC Win 2k/XP & Mac OS X 4. The price of Vyzor Evolver is $79 USD, with a $20 Crossgrade discount for registered ST users. 5. Vyzor PolyEvolver will ship in February. It supports Evolver OS Version 3, and includes Poly-specific editing features. This product will also work with Desktop Evolvers running V.3. 6. The price of Vyzor PolyEvolver is $99 USD, with a $20 Crossgrade discount for registered ST users. Users of Vyzor Evolver will be eligible to upgrade to Vyzor PolyEvolver for $20 USD. 7. All Vyzors run stand-alone and as VST plug-ins with full automation within DAWs that support VST. These products will be available from our webstore as direct downloads. 8. Derek from Sound Tower is correct when he flags the older MOTU parallel port interfaces as being problematic for SysEx editor/instrument communications. We editor developers are at the mercy of the interface manufacturer's driver support in situations like this, and unfortunately some of the older interface/driver combos are simply unable to handle heavy SysEx streams - They're fine for note, CC and other traffic, but their handling of SysEx is not always perfect. Will Vyzor Evolver work where ST does not? You can only try it and find out, since we don't have that particular model interface here to test with. If you encounter issues, Psicraft will address them to your satisfaction one way or the other.
