Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

Hi list.

I bought an evolver desktop last week, and have been loving it. I
spent the past few days  on vacation learning the machine, and it is
truly wonderful. When I got back to my place i plugged in my MIDI
keyboard (nord electro 2) but can not get any sound to come out of the
evolver when using it. The evolver is receiving the midi messages, the
led on the display is blinking every time I hit a key but no sound is
coming out (I'm using stock bank 2 program 128, like the manual
instructs). I have my keyboard sending onchannel 1 and the Evolver set
to receive on channel 1, but for the life of me I cant figure out why
its not working.   I've also checked by sending MIDI from my computer
to the same result. 

I have to have mistakenly set some main parameter to cause this
problem, Does any one have any tips how i may rectify this problem (I
bought the evolver to primarly play leads and basses with). I've read
through the entire manual and I'm getting nowhere. otherwise the
evolver works fine.
