First, Hello to all.

I have a Voyager Signature edition that I got when they first came
out, and have found that though it is more or less *the* bass sound
everyone is after, I personally dont use it all that much. I have a
very difficult time getting more modern, less prog rock type sounds
from it, and for what I make (thinking dance, trance, industrial) it
comes across as a little mellow, maybe even a bit too meaty...? 

So, being that the Voyager is worth a smidge more than the PEK, and
after spending time with a PEK at Guitar Center, I am thinking of
making the switch, and perhaps just buying a Voyager Rack down the line. 


I guess I am looking for opinions, people that have made the switch,
dos and donts, moral support ...?
