just where I am going wrong with wave shaping-sequencing? please help!

2006-01-18 by orwell125

I'm enjoying my new evolver; wide and wild bass. But can someone
please tell me where I am going wrong with wave shaping, sequencing,
wave scanning, wavetable stuff.

Ok so I've assigned the digital oscillators to a sequencer with Shape
seq. Move the waves up and down on the pitch nobs, with each step
representing a vs or other wave. But why do the waves one each stop
at 96 and not go beyond to 130 user waves? I must be doing something
wrong.........

Anyway to scan, filter thru or evolve where to go from here: set an
LFO on each step? Anything else? (I've experimented with flicking
thru each wave in the oscillators while the sequencer is playing
the `other' waves and have found some random glitches...)

and just what part do the analogue oscillators play in all this?

On the same topic, I read this somewhere: "Almost forgot to mention
that using the two digital oscs in wide-stereo mode on the evolver,
with different parameters on each, sounds amazing"

What the hell is wide-stereo? ...very confusing micro-machine..

Many thanks evolver-mates
