I had a MicroQ. I sold it because it sounded waaaaaay to Trancey (actually I traded it to someone for another xbase 09 haha!.. funny thing about that was the serial number on it was next one after mine, brothers from the lab!). I would agree with the person who said "Soft, Smooth, Thick, etc... thats what the MicroQ (and Trance)sounds like. Very glassy and produced. If thats what yr looking for, go for that. The two things I liked about that synth were big stacked (as in unison) bass, very wideand you could get some really weird and spacey sounds by spending a bit of time routing the LFO's all over the place... Also it's polyphonic and its 16 voice... Evolver and MicroQ, two TOTALLY different synths... I'm very glad to be rid of the MicroQand I LOVE my Evolver... saving for a PEK... cant f'ing wait!

Thats because there is almost no point in mentioning the fact that Trance
sucks anymore as it is now so widely accepted. Indeed, if you look up
'sucks' in a dictionary it simply states: see 'Trance'..
Only joking of course.. As we all know, every genre has it's gems. Sure,
slightly more illusive within Trance but the gems are there..
