Thanks for the info Scott and Anthony.  That makes sense... I recorded a 
bit of it and Dave Smith gave it a listen and wanted a dump of my basic 
patch so he could check it out, at first he thought the same as you guys as 
well, but on listening to the recording, thought things may be a little 
more "off" than they should, so I'll wait to hear what he says and post 
back his findings.

Here's the message I sent him and a link to my test:

Dave, I recorded some of the differences in the voices, let me know if 
these are the small differences you mentioned previously.  Hitting the same 
key in "fours" to cycle through the voices, then moving to another key, 
etc.  At about 30 seconds, I go back to the original starting note and the 
original differences seem to get much smaller than when I started.... then 
you'll hear a "power off" and then a few more notes.  The higher notes near 
the end kind of sound like octaves, which I think are voice 2 and 4 playing 
the high parts.
