Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

Hello Everyone,
  I own a Mono evolver keyboard and I am having problems with the 
sequencer. When I program the sequencer from the keyboard, and then 
write the patch, all the note data is lost when I leave the patch then 
come back to it. The note data is gone but the clock divider and bpm 
info still remains. I don't have this problem when I program the notes 
from the knobs. Any ideas why this would happen? Perhaps I'm missing a 
step?
