um, everything Ravi said ;)

really though, the initial selling point for me was to
be able to get the combo of VS waveforms and analog
filter without having to spend an insane amount of
cash for a questionably-reliable original VS... and
more I began to read the other specs, the more I
realized it's just not a machine to be ignored :)

the fact that Dave Smith is behind it certainly didn't
hurt either :)
