With the latest OS the Evolvers receive several CCs, but the panels still don't send them. My personal opinion is that it's not adequate to invest the work of implementing a "controller box" into the PEK. It would require a lot of programming and still wouldn't be perfect in the end. People would immediately complain that knobs send fix controller numbers, that the implemented CC don't fit to their hard-/software, that no templates can be saved etc. There are dedicated controller boxes for this task. If Dave Smith would build or implement one into his synths, it could impossibly be as cheap as for example the Behringer mass products.
