Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

Hi,

I'm new to the group and I just got myself a PEK. Quite an amazing
synth it is !
I wanted to know if there are any OS updates that have been released
for the PEK, and also how to check the current OS version.
I read about some bugs, which are they ?
Also, is there a FREE PC editor available ? I understood that the 
PolyEvolver SoundEditor is not free for PEK.
I got a bit confused about Dave Smith web site...
