How about we start a petition? Start off with a nice clean post, and then those interested would reply with a Yea or Nay. We could include our email address and the serial number of our units or something.

What would be really nice is if the digital wave form found in Osc 3 and Osc 4 could simply be used as a mod destination so a LFO, EG, keytracking, etc could be used to scan through the WHOLE bank - ESPECIALLY THE EDITABLE USER section. Not just a short 4 or 5 segment table of individual waves (whatever the number is). ie have Osc 3 and 4 could scan through waves 96 through 128 at different rates. That would be cool. Or better yet, use normal wave sequence table configuration slots to program a range of waves to go through vs. the actual wave numbers to go through..... I miss my XTK sometimes :(

As it is now, when using the wavesequencer the only option is to use
waveform 1-96 or whatever it is - the preset prophet VS waveforms.
Nice as they are, it doesn't make for waldorf:ish scanning through
gradually "interpolated" waveforms. I think one of the most
interesting features of the evolver is the possibility to upload user
waveforms, I use them to for example modulate one digital oscillator
with a very low pitched user waveform to get strange one-shot
envelopes and so on...

I know that the user waveform slots are few, and that the evolver is
the evolver, not a waldorf microwave, but just having the possibility
to scan through user defined interpolated wavetables would enlargen an
already amazingly rich sound palette.

Anyway - Dave wrote that it would be easy to fix so that the user
uploaded waveforms could be included in the wavesequencer, but that I
was the only one who had pointed it out so far.. Perhaps we here on
this list could compile a "feature wishlist" and send DSI? I know
Elektron and other small companies encourage this kind of organized
user feedback.

So, what do you other DSI fans think?
