Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

Hi folks,

I have been having mega problems updating the operating sysytem of my 
Evovler desktop.

It is still at v2.0 & 2.1. I haven't installed the v3 chip yet.  I 
can't get the sysex file into my Evolver properly no matter what I do. 
I've tried several different combinations of pc, midi interface & 
cables and always get the same results. I have tried dumping using 
several sysex progs, the soundtower editor + the vyzor editor. The 
display counts down from 59 to 0 then freezes showing 99 so I have to 
restart the synth.

Please can anyone give me advice on how to proceed?
