that's a pretty interesting question... i looked into my sequencer (DP 5.11) and it looks like it's a one way street from CC to SysEx, but not the other way. what surprised me is that when i ran my Poly Evolver through MIDI Monitor, i noticed the knobs actually generate a more precise range of data than is displayed on the PEK's screen. i wouldn't be surprised if someone has used MaxMSP/Pluggo to make a SysEx remapping plug-in; after all, the SysEx coming from my PEK knobs are only 9 bytes a change, only two of which are the numerical value-- it would be pretty easy programming to remap the SysEx parameter and data into a standard MIDI CC. personally, i have a novation ReMOTEZero SL right above my computer keyboard just in case i want to quickly generate some kind of control data. but you question seems like a common enough desire, i'll bet someone has a quick & clever answer. m. --- In DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com, "mikepattenau" <patten@...> wrote: > > Hi all, > > I am using a mono k/b evolver and Logic Audio Pro.
