at $1000 for the MEK and $400 for each desktop it is cheaper to just pick up a PEK at $1800 - 2000 for 4 voices. And believe it or not it will take up less room than 1 MEK and 3 DEVOs, when you take into consideration the placement of 3 additional devices compared to 1 and all of the cables you will have hooked up to all of these things (audio cables, midi cables (for poly), and power cables). Personally that solution sounds like a big pain in the ass. I would recommend just getting a PEK or a MEK + PER.
Or buy the Prophet '08....

is IFFFFFF you can polychain 2 evo desktops to a MEK.

Hey, one more crazy question.. has anyone come up with a midi to SD
(or mini or micro) card device that will allow you to save all the
patches on a box like an evo and move the sounds from one box to
another (or have super quick patch changes on the road) ?

12 - the hardware emulation of the prophet 5 - hoping it would get
