Hi all,

Since there is no board (as yet?) dedicated to the Prophet08 and
there has been some discussion of DSI's newest machine here I wanted
to take a moment to announce our newest editor's release.

This editor keeps all the high standards you've come to expect as
standard from SoundTower while extending our reach.

Included is complete real time editing of all DSI Prophet '08
parameters (including but not limited to...)

*The two analog oscillators per voice.
*analog low-pass filters
*complete modulation routing/mapping
*Four-on-four splits and layer control
*Arpeggiator, gated 16 x 4 step sequencer, and LFOs.
*The two digitally controlled analog oscillators for each voice
(with editor selectable sawtooth, triangle, saw/triangle mix, and
pulse waves (with pulse-width modulation), and hard sync)
*All three Envelope Generators: filter, VCA, and assignable (four-
stage ADSR + delay) (including Loop/Repeat mode controllable)
*All four LFOs on single panel with sync option button for each.
*Glide (portamento) and control of separate rates per oscillator.
*Analog VCAs
*OS Updater utility

Bank manager and program librarian
* all 256 fully editable Programs (2 banks of 128) with 2 Layers (2
separate sounds) in each Program.

Introducing the Intelligent sound generator for the first time in
this software release.

It should be noted that the Prophet '08 SoundEditor version 1.1.0
comes with the new Prophet '08 Firmware/OS version 1.1 which helps
to optimize the Prophet '08 keyboard for a use with the software and
contains some other most recent firmware additions. (To update the
Prophet OS, connect the Prophet keyboard to your computer open the
OS Updater utility and simply follow instructions on a screen)
