Aloha evolvorz, been rocking the evolver desktop for a couple months now and OH MAN i love this little thing! I fell pretty comfortable for the most part finding my own way around it, but I cannot figure out why this particular patch is behaving as it is... I have some guesses and I'll try to explain. I've uploaded the patch to check out here: http://tinyurl.com/2szj5h OK first of all I started with a completely blank patch, built it myself, and there's not any modulation (that I can think of or find) that should be affecting the patch as it seems to be doing... when set to SAT waveform (I only have osc 1&2 turned up & they're both SAT) it seems like the very low notes only (mostly) come out of the right channel. It kind of seems like either: A) the keyfollow is modulating the pitch, or B) the filter freq is set lower on the right channel (this one seems more like what is happening but I can't see how...) the wierd(er) thing is when I switch the waveforms on both OSC 1 &2 to PUL 50 (aka square) it's not affected the same way- it behaves as I'd expect; a slight variation in the left/right channels due to each having their own analog filter applied. the way the patch is set up, right and left channels are hard panned, so I expect some variation in the filters of each channel, and when the waveform is square it behaves as I'd expect. But when it's sawtooth there is a distinct panning when you hit the lower notes. This isn't such a huge problem, and it really is maybe quite an inconsequential thing that nobody cares about, but I really want to know exactly what is happening here! I'm just a synth nerd who loves to understand the inner working of a patch ;-) Any die hard evolver vets out there willing to shed some light? thanks! josh -heckadecimal- ps- if I can clarify any further or you're unable to get to the patch just ask and I can either email it to you or possibly post to the file area of this group KTHXBY
