To correct my post, I researched the current Prophet '08 manual and
the modulation bus does not have a destination for oscillator level
(mix only) so I can only think of a work-around sacrificing one of the
oscillators to get the P08 fully wind controller compatible.  Not
exactly what I hoped for.

The Evolver series seems to be an anomaly in making life easy for the
analog-loving wind controller player.  Maybe I should look at the Poly
again...
