howdy folks.

proud new owner of a MED. i briefly had a PEK but sold it because of it's size and a shortage 
of funds at the time. i kinda fell in love with the sound, and this little mono unit serves me 
just fine.

my question has to do with the cutoff. it doesn't seem to work similarly to any other synth i 
have owned (which is quite a lot). by that, i mean it doesn't seem to close down completely in 
general - i need negative env amount values to get any action from the cutoff, or map it to a 
mod wheel. most synths will push the cutoff freq all the way down below 20hz...

am i missing something here? it is a strange machine for sure (part of why i love it) but this 
funky filter seems like it is absent half of the time.

anyone able to clue me in on this? am i just wrong, or if not, what are some good tricks to 
getting full use from it? ie, really deep and wide sweeps, etc.
