still saving up for my MEK, but this concerns me a tad.

can someone please verify whether the MEK has a knob/button 
combination to switch programs in mid-sequence but not start the new 
sequence until Beat One, as on the MED? thanks...

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
