I didn't come across any problems AFAIR.

The BC Manager program for editing the BCR is very good.

One thing the BCR2000 won't do is negative value NRPN messages but that doesn't matter for the Evolver.

I'm interested to know - is the BCR able to program sysex in a way the
evolver can fully use? I remember I ran into problems programming a
Novation SL a while back as it couldn't handle passing some of the bytes.
