Oddly i cant seem to get it work, there is almost always something lingering in the background of sequences. i went over and over again but cant find it. I dont want to waste more time doing this so i need someone to perhaps give me hints on what i am doing wrong, better yet maybe send me midi file.cheers

I'm not completely clear on what you are asking but I had a bit of confusion when I first started using the basic patch.

I was assuming that it was a typical "INIT" patch that you see on other synths. That is, a simple mildly detuned double saw tooth with full attack and decay/sustain, maybe a little release and no filtering.

The INIT patch that's on the database is EVERYTHING set to zero including main patch volume, oscilator volume, amp env amount (as well as all ADSR controls)...nothing, nada, zip.

I modified it by creating a detuned sawtooth no frills patch and use that as my general starter patch. I have two versions: one with the amp levels on max for drones and one with a simple "piano-ey" envelope. It also defaults with 4-pole filter and osc slop on 5.

Hope that helps.
