just to clarify a bit, use SysExLib to send the update file directly to your devo, no need to go thru a DAW at all. SysExLib is also a great tool to store and manage your devo patches (or any piece of midi hardware for that matter). good luck! btw, two other great mac tools i can't live without: MidiMonitor (just displays midi streams, great for troubleshooting) http://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/ and MidiPipe (very similar to MidiOx/Yoke on PC, tweak midi streams realtime, sooooo useful!) http://web.mac.com/nicowald/SubtleSoft/MidiPipe.html -- bug.out if only you could see what i've seen with your eyes On Jan 5, 2010, at 8:27 AM, locatemodule wrote: > > > I am and I'll try it after work tonight. I have Logic Pro 8 and Live 7, but can't seem to get either one to recognize / import the file. Anyone have any suggestions? Maybe Logic Pro 8 and Live 7 aren't able to read sysex files or maybe there is different way to import the file into those programs? Not sure, but would be great if I could get this done! > > > > Any help / suggestions will be greatly appreciated! > > > > David
