Re: [DSI Synths] Desktop Evolver Upgrade problem

just to clarify a bit, use SysExLib to send the update file directly to your devo, no need to go thru a DAW at all.

SysExLib is also a great tool to store and manage your devo patches (or any piece of midi hardware for that matter).

good luck!

btw, two other great mac tools i can't live without:

MidiMonitor (just displays midi streams, great for troubleshooting)

and MidiPipe (very similar to MidiOx/Yoke on PC, tweak midi streams realtime, sooooo useful!)

I have Logic Pro 8 and Live 7, but can't seem to get either one to recognize / import the file. Anyone have any suggestions? Maybe Logic Pro 8 and Live 7 aren't able to read sysex files or maybe there is different way to import the file into those programs? Not sure, but would be great if I could get this done!

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
